Dave Matthews Band (DMB) at the Royal Albert Hall
Seeing Dave Matthews Band, or DMB, live in concert brings back so many nostalgic memories, reminiscing on our carefree university days.
During our university days, going to a Dave Matthews Band concert, otherwise known as DMB, was a marquee summer event. As “young, dumb & broke” college kids, we would arrive at Shoreline Amphitheatre with some 20,000 loyal DMB fans to enjoy a carefree evening of amazing music. Known as a ‘jam band’ with musical influence spanning folk/indie, rock, jazz, alternative, a DMB concert never disappoints. Huge congratulations to Dave Matthews Band for being inducted as part of the Class of 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
Twenty Years On – DMB at the Royal Albert Hall
Twenty years on since our last DMB concert, here we are at the beautiful Royal Albert Hall to see DMB live. Overwhelmed with nostalgia, we reminisce on our early years of dating as we listen to DMB’s all-time favourite hits. I feel so incredibly proud and grateful for the life we built together over the past 20+ years. From our first post-college jobs, marriage, transatlantic move, world travels, homeownership, family breavement, and parenthood, I am blessed to have the sweetest partner and my best friend to navigate life together.
From our swivel seats in the Stall at the amazing Royal Albert Hall, a far cry from the lawn at Shoreline Amphitheatre, we thoroughly enjoyed every moment of the DMB concert. The opening act from an up-and-coming and talented artist Myles Smith was amazing, blending folk/indie sounds of Mumford & Sons and George Ezra. A beautiful evening of music with my No. 1.
