Oasis Live ‘25 at Wembley Stadium
Nostalgic & Emotional – the wait is finally over! Oasis Live ’25 brings you back to our youthful days with iconic tunes that defined a generation.
What an EPIC reunion concert!! I’m still feeling “supersonic” from the whole experience on Saturday with 90,000 fans rocking out to Oasis hits over a two-hour set under the arches of Wembley Stadium.

Half the World Away: Friendship that Transcend Time
Talk about nostalgia. Friendship that transcends distance and time. Back in July 2009, we hosted my friend C and her then boyfriend S from San Francisco in our Clapham flat. When I asked what their plans were in London, she replied, “We are seeing Oasis at Wembley, his favourite band for 3 nights!” Well, little did he know then, Oasis would break up a month later. Those tickets were worth every penny then!
Fast forward 16 years later, we met up with our same friend C and her husband G, who now lives in Austin, Texas, at Flat Iron. A kid-free trip, they are roadtripping through England. I told her that we are seeing Oasis Live ‘25 next month. She remembers that concert fondly and happily shares that S is married with three boys after selling his start-up to a major investment bank. And we continue to reminisce on our youthful days over steaks and red wine.
Some Might Say: My Lucky Dip
When Oasis announced their reunion tour last year, fans were ecstatic! Disappointed not to get tickets during the chaotic general sale, I got a by-invitation only ballot in May for Oasis Live ‘25 tickets. This time around, the queuing and transaction process was smooth. I truly hit the jackpot – my lucky dip – and nabbed 4 tickets in Block 123 for the August show at Wembley Stadium! Oasis Live ‘25, here we come!

Roll with It: Showtime!
We rocked out with another couple friend for an EPIC night out singing along to Richard Ashcroft’s “Lucky Man” and “Bitter Sweet Symphony” and all of Oasis hot hits from start to finish. Coming on stage in their signature styles – bucket hat and raincoat for Liam with his tambourine and skinny jeans and black shirt for Noel.
It was an incredible, long-awaited reunion. Each song resonates so differently now that we have lived life over the past 16 years. Wow, a lot of life has happened: homeownership, pawrenthood, parenthood, bereavements, friendships, careers, family and Covid. Oasis Live ’25 brings us back to our youthful days with iconic tunes that defined a generation.
The instrumentals, sound, and singing were all on point. The Gallagher brothers genuinely looked happy to perform together. The crowd was electric. The atmosphere was stratospheric. Supersonic!

Live Forever: A Fan Tribute
As a fan tribute, I sent my friend a note earlier in the week to coordinate plans using as many of Oasis songs as I can think of. Yes, I couldn’t contain my excitement!
“What’s the Story, Morning Glory?” (Need a little time to wake up, wake up)
Thought I drop a line to say “Hello” from “Half the World Away” in London (this whole town doesn’t smell too pretty) and check in on what’s “The Masterplan” to see these “Rock ‘n’ Roll Stars” aka Oasis Live ‘25, because I am feeling “Supersonic” (give me gin and tonic).
“Some Might Say” get there early b/c you “Don’t want to Look back in Anger” and “Stop Crying Your Heart Out” if you miss the one and only Richard Ashcroft of The Verve (yes, that would be “Bitter Sweet Symphony”). “D’You Know What I Mean?”
So you got to “Roll with It.” (you gotta say what you say) And we can “Slide Away” (slide away) to Wembley. I want to “Talk Tonight” (until the morning light) about plans for a fun night drinking “Champagne Supernova” and singing along to “Wonderwall” b/c you and I are going to “Live Forever.”
