Happy 3rd Birthday to Infinity & Beyond
And just like that we have a three year old! Where does time go? Seriously, it feels like yesterday when Kenz and I were eagerly awaiting Lady Yeya’s arrival. We made a dash to the hospital around 10pm and six hours later, Lady Yeya joined the world at the early hours on 20th February 2018.
Lady Yeya is truly a blessing. She is our biggest joy! Lady Yeya is not only sweet-natured but also has an easy-going, kind and happy personality. Kenz and I joked that if our daughter was half as sweet as our beloved dog Buddy, then we hit the jackpot. Sweet child of mine, we are so proud of you. In your honour, here is your list of little loves as observed by your adoring parents.
Lady Yeya’s Little Loves
You love books and re-reading them over and over and over.
You love your beauty sleep of no less than 12 hours.
You love pasta, and mama’s 3 hour bolognese is your favourite.
You love berries of any kind – strawberries, blueberries, raspberries.
You love milk every morning and every night without fail.
You love dinosaurs so much that you call yourself a T-Rex dinosaur.
You love Pixar movies (thanks Disney+) – Toy Story 2 is the best.
You love music thanks to Sonos playing day and night.
You love the ABC song and know your alphabet and phonics.
You love imaginative play with your favourite stuffed animals.
You love your friends and sharing toys and snacks.
You love bath time in your too-small-for-me Ikea bathtub.
You love Christmas, but not Halloween because it is too scary.
You love your family – mama, Buddy, and dadda – in that order.

A Toy Story Birthday Celebration
The current lockdown prevented us from hosting a birthday party with her little friends. To mark the day, we went the extra mile in setting up a Toy Story themed birthday celebration. Jessie the Cowgirl and Partysaurus Rex joined the rest of the gang Sheriff Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Hamm the Pig, and Mr. & Mrs. Potatohead to wish Lady Yeya a very happy 3rd birthday over a homemade red velvet cake.
We made the most of the sunshine with a family walk, park, and take away from our favourite local Indian restaurant.
On your third birthday dear Lady Yeya, we wish for many new and exciting adventures in toddlerhood.
