Autumn Vibes at Tulley’s Pumpkin Patch

A perfect autumn day at Tulley’s Pumpkin Patch with friends, family, dogs, and pumpkins set the tone for a memorable Halloween season.

There’s something magical about the arrival of the “ber” months. The air turns crisp, the leaves begin their annual colour show, and suddenly everything feels a little cosier. Autumn has always been our family’s favourite season. Give us chunky knit blankets, comforting bowls of soup, golden sunshine, and pumpkin-spiced everything, and we’re happy.

With our home already dressed in its autumn finery, there was only one way to properly welcome the season: a visit to Tulley’s Pumpkin Patch.

It had actually been several years since our last trip to Tulley‘s. Unfortunately, that visit had been memorable for all the wrong reasons. Torrential rain transformed the pumpkin fields into a muddy obstacle course, complete with soaked wellies and grumpy faces. This year, however, couldn’t have been more different. We were blessed with glorious autumn sunshine, blue skies, and the kind of weather that makes you want to stay outdoors all day.

Tulley’s Pumpkin Patch: America in the English Countryside

Tulley’s feels like a little slice of America tucked away in the English countryside. Think perfectly arranged pumpkin displays, endless photo opportunities, and a festive atmosphere designed for making family memories. Every corner feels thoughtfully curated, yet still manages to retain that wholesome, seasonal charm.

We visited with a group of friends, and our dogs joined in the adventure too. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a stunning palette of burnt oranges, rich reds, and golden yellows. The scent of freshly brewed coffee and pumpkin spice drifted through the air, instantly putting everyone in an autumn mood.

The children made a beeline for the pumpkin fields, carefully searching for that one perfect pumpkin. Watching them inspect every shape, size, and colour was all part of the fun, whilst the dads trailed behind with the wheelbarrow. Around the patch, vintage tractors, classic trucks, and quirky old vehicles created picture-perfect backdrops. Instagram enthusiasts were out in full force, posing with everything from stylish pups to, rather surprisingly, a pet ferret!

Beyond the pumpkins, there was plenty to keep everyone entertained. Family-friendly rides, bustling food trucks, and coffee vans ensured that energy levels stayed high and parents remained suitably caffeinated. Everywhere you looked, there was laughter, excitement, and that unmistakable buzz that signals Halloween is just around the corner.

By the end of the day, every family was lugging around an oversized blue IKEA bag overflowing with pumpkins of every shape and shade imaginable. We left Tulley’s tired, happy, and already looking forward to carving our pumpkin haul in the weeks ahead.

Autumn has officially arrived, and we look forward to all the spooky fun ahead!
